Over 430 organizations from Romania and Ukraine joined the information sessions for the second call for Small-Scale projects

On May 13–14, 2025, the Interreg NEXT Romania–Ukraine Programme organized two online information sessions dedicated to the second call for Small-Scale projects, attracting over 260 participants from both countries. The events aimed to support potential applicants in understanding the requirements of the call and the opportunities available through cross-border cooperation.

The sessions featured experts from the Joint Secretariat, representatives of the Managing Authority, National Authorities involved in the Programme’s implementation, as well as specialists from TESIM (Technical Support to the Implementation and Management of NEXT programmes).

The agenda included essential information about the specific objectives of the call, available financial allocations, grant sizes, project duration, types of eligible activities, and applicant eligibility criteria. In addition, participants were briefed on the mandatory requirements for submitted proposals and the importance of building strong cross-border partnerships.

A key moment of the event was the Q&A session, where participants had the opportunity to ask specific questions and receive direct clarifications from the experts.

This initiative reflects the Programme’s commitment to fostering effective and sustainable cooperation between communities in Romania and Ukraine, through projects that generate tangible benefits at the local and regional levels.
